Daehan Securities Inc. ("Daehan") was founded in 1989 to provide financial products and transactional services to Korean-Americans in Southern California. Since inception, Daehan has grown to provide investment advisor services, international trading, institutional trading, and investment banking services to the general public. 

To expand its domestic and international capabilities, while servicing a growing number of clients, Daehan established a clearing arrangement with Interactive Brokers in 2016, allowing Daehan to offer excellent transactional execution both domestically and internationally. Interactive Brokers rated #1 Best Online Broker in 2020 by Barron's.

In the Korean market, Daehan maintains a strategic relationship with Shinhan Securities of Korea. Shinhan supplies Daehan with real-time online quotations from Korean markets as well as current information on all Korean companies.

Client securities accounts at Interactive Brokers LLC are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) for a maximum coverage of $500,000 (with a cash sublimit of $250,000) and under Interactive Brokers LLC's excess SIPC policy with certain underwriters at Lloyd's of London for up to an additional $30 million (with a cash sublimit of $900,000) subject to an aggregate limit of $150 million. As with all securities firms, this coverage provides protection against failure of a broker-dealer, not against loss of market value of securities.
